Visit the first hospital in Latin America founded by conqueror Herman Cortes in 1524, “El hospital de Jesus” is believed to be located in the exact spot where Herman Cortes met Montezuma. A perfect example of colonial architecture the hospital also features a magnificent mural. (Beware the hospital is still operating today.)

Located in Mexico City’s downtown is the “Ciudadela” Square, turned into a big dance school where people from all ages get together and dance. From danzon to salsa and prehispanic music, you can mix with the locals and learn to dance, becoming part of the moment. Most men at the “Ciudadela Square” are dressed like “pachucos”, wearing very colorful clothes, while women mostly wear shiny dresses and high heels. Visiting this place will make you feel the rhythm! Join the dance of just walk around and enjoy yourself.
